Ok this is my first blog ever so here I go.
I don’t understand why everyone says that senior year is the best year of high school. Yes we have prom and graduation but the road to get their is rough. There’s the dreadful college apps and everyday issues that put bumps in the road. Its hard to look forward when there are things blocking your vision. Honestly I keep hearing the Good Times song repeating in my head ” Keeping your head above water, Making a way when we can”. I’m starting to realize that staying afloat is a lot harder than trending water because there is always that occasional wave that crashes into you taking you under. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m approaching adulthood that I’m having thoughts of life and the future but it seems like the future is going to take a lot of work to reach. But by any means necessary I’ll reach it.
